It is an excellent product - it cleans the hair without stripping - leaves it shiny and full of bounce without the addition of conditioners, leave in treatments etc. I find my hair to be more balanced and does not need to be washed every day to feel clean... Melanie, Delaney's Creek 15/12/2001 - I discovered Gypsy Rose 2 in 1 Lavender shampoo via a hair appointment with Karen Ellis of Scissorcraft April 2000. It turned out to be the most important appointment of my life. The impact this Gypsy Rose product has had on our lives must be commended, as it has changed our family forever. In particular my 7 year old daughter Ioni who suffers from chronic exema, suffering this condition since she was 7 weeks old, I was unable to find anything to use on Ioni without causing bad or disturbing results to her skin and head i.e. bleeding ears, fingers, knees, ankles, elbows and sores the size of 20 cent pieces on her head from using commercial shampoos. The cracks behind her ears and finger joints were so deep we thought those sombs could possibly fall off. Steroid cream gave hourly temporary relief and has long term side effects, so money was no issue when it came to find that perfect relief or possible cure. It has now been 20 months Ioni has been using this product and I couldn't be happer. Lavender Shampoo has only got better and better over time, not only does it clean Ioni's hair beautiful but there has been NO cracks or sores on her head, fingers or ears since.. "Gypsy Rose" soap - the pawpaw/carrot/orange soap in the winter, the almond/honey/cinnamon at other times. Has lasted me forever. If feeling slightly dry, then I use the "Gypsy Rose" Rosehip oil. Since I have been using Karen's Herbacraft 'Gypsy Rose' Natural 2 in 1 shampoo, and Hair Shine Treatment, I have been able to keep the psoriasis under control. I also use the Herbacraft facial soap mixture (Almond oil and honey) and find it to be thorough but very gentle cleanser which helps my skin look and feel good. Another benefit is that my hair always looks shiny and healthy looking. My hair using other shampoo products seems to get used to the shampoo and goes dull looking after a while. "Gypsy Rose" has proven to me that you can use and use the product and your hair never changes condition. I can't keep count of how many people have complimented on the condition of my hair since using your products. I must admit I have probably tried almost every skin care product available - however I have never used one I love as much as Herbacraft's facial soap. Renee Wamuran 24/05/2001 - I use the new Rosemary Shampoo - formula approx three times a week. My hair is fine and limp but with this shampoo it has volume and still keeps its smoothness. It is easier to style and maintain with less knots. Also when my head gets itchy from styling products your shampoo stops the itch. Suzanne, Wamuran Over the years - I have used many shampoos which are available for "fine hair". Some of which I found to be reasonably satisfactory. After trying the Herbacraft Gypsy Rose formula of shampoo, I really could not believe the difference in the condition of my hair. Hilary, Wamuran 09/04/2001 - I've been using Gypsy Rose products including the shampoo since the beginning of Karen's producing it, approx in 1994/95. The shampoo goes a long way, as it is very concentrated so you don't need to use mucyh. It always gets my hair "ssqueeky clean" and it feels lovely and soft and shiny when dry. I have never had scalp problems, dandruff, scale, etc. since I've been using this shampoo, and people comment on my shiny hair quite often. Being in the public eye (the Post Mistress) people notice your hair, skin etc. so it is very important to be confident with a product, such as your shampoo. The Wamuran Post Office has also been selling it since 1994, and I feel confident I'm selling a top product. I like to use all natural products and Karen Ellis of Scissormagik Salon has made the product by using ingredients that you'd find in your own kitchen. The hairspray is also multipurpose. It can be used as hairspray, replace your mouse or gel, aid in 'blowdry', use as a quick set spray & style, let dry and restyle. What I like best is that it helps me style my own hair and keeps it looking great until I was it again. Magic just Magik. Angie, Wamuran 20/02/2005 - My fine hair was suffering from years of chemical colouring and blow drying. It was limp in summer, fly-away in winter, with lots of breakage. Lyn, Caboolture 22/02/2005 - After using conventional hair spray almost every day for many years, I became conscious that it may be quite bad for my lungs. I continued to use the hair spray but held a cloth over my nose and mouth when spraying and then ran into another room so as to avoid breathing it in. an absolute blessing. Louise, Theebine Q 1/07/2006- I use the whole range"Gypsy Rose"- and love it all-really enjoying the new product " All Rounder Body Top to toe" and look forward to more new multipurpose products.The shampoo is great for my scalp and gives my fine hair so much body-I only need to wash 2 times a week and sometimes cheat and only do once a week and still surprisingly I am not irritated too much-though I do need to do 3 shampoos in the same wash if I leave it for a week-I suspect it needs this to remove excess dirt,sweat and oils as it takes the 3rd time to lather.The Hairspray lasts forever and is a quick way of looking like you have done alot & brushes out easy the next day and I just re-apply all over again without need to wash out a sticky product. The new product " All Rounder Body Top to toe" has amazingly fixed my feet problems-cracked,dry,tough,and just so rough-I do it once at night and include the pumicestone instructions as being in the country I hardly ever wear shoes only thongs.Also use it as a healer for any rashes or dry spots The 'clay' soap'is brillant for when I'm pimply-I tend to use both the 'almond' and 'clay',the clay I put on the pimple and 'almond everywhere else-I find if I need moisturiser at all in dry times I use the 'Rosehip oil' Gypsy Rose' brand as it absorbs without shine compared to other brands and have realised over trialing others that any 'Rosehip' that is WHITE IS NOT AS NATURAL AS THE OIL VERSION-love the scent of the 'rose' essential oil. Karen, Clear Mountain Q 3/01/2007- I have suffered from psoraisis for many years and have tried many,many different shampoos which were sold as treatments. Nothing worked. It took a few weeks for my scalp to get the full benefit from the Rosemary 2-in-1 shampoo but now it is great for both my hair and scalp. I don't need to wash every day to stop the itching and love the fact that the 1st time in my life I don't need conditioner. I ran out of the shampoo for a week and had to return to an old shampoo that previously was the least irritating but found it left my head itchy and I could feel the buildup.None of the tingling freshness I feel after shampooing with the 2-in-1 shampoo. I also use the face cleanser and find it also great.East to use,easy to take travelling. I don't have to use moisturiser most times but do choose to use Rosehip oil most days and blockout when I go out. I've just started my 2 daughters on the face cleansor because it is so gentle. You gave me a sample of the rosemary 2 in 1 shampoo, a couple of Saturdays ago at 'Mrs Flannery's ' Taringa. I shaved my hair for cancer last year, because I wanted to do something , instead of watching my friends die. I found Gypsy Rose 2 in 1 shampoo with Rosemary in a local Health Food shop. Ive been using it for 2 months with stunning results. My hair dries in curls now where it used to dry fluffy, I don't need to wash it as much, it's much more mana, and I don't get an itchy scalp anymore! I use it on my childrens hairand it makes their hair soft and bouncy. We wash our hair lees times in a week now and the one bottle I bought has lasted 8-9 wks!!! All the ingredients of Gypsy Rose are familiar to a non-scientist like myself. Therefore, without the need of a degree in chemistry, I understand exactly what I am rubbing into the pores of my skin. Gypsy Rose shampoo and Hair Shine (I use it as a treatment) safeguards the condition of my hair without having to shampoo so often. Its natural scents establish a better harmony with my senses-which is important, considering that I must constantly inhale them. They do not smell like chemicals. My hair feels and appears thicker (using Rosemary one) without the frizziness caused by other products. Gypsy Rose soap does not dry out the face and I have no need for costly and time consuming moisturisers and Gypsy Rose " Lovely oil" is the most subtle and pleasant scent I can apply to my skin. The gypsy Rose Shampoo cleared it up in a couple of weeks. When my husband saw this he used it on his beard. He has a full beard and has suffered with dry itchy skin on his face, after using GR products it cleared up. It is great stuff and I happily recommend it to anyone. I rub it into my bare nails at night and they have never looked healthier. An unexpectedbonus of T 2 T was - after rubbing it on a patch of solar keratosis on my upper lip for 4 weeks it has completely cleared up, so far with no recurrence. I love the soaps too, after cleansing and drying my skin is left with a lovely calming fragrance, the only thing wrong is the fragrance fades after a while. Now what we need is a liquid body wash??
Jo-Ann , Brisbane Q 4/1/12- I am so thankful to have discovered your Rosemary shampoo. I bought the bottle from a health food store because of it's impressively natural list of ingredients. My expectations weren't high but i was happy to give it a go. I cannot reccomend this product highly enough, it is beautiful. I'd like to quote from a book "The breast cancer Prevention Guide" by Sandra Cabot and naturopath Magaret Janinska, page 101."According to the US Environmental Working group, more than 10.500 ingredients are approved for use in cosmetics, 89% of them have never been tested for safety by any publicly accountable institution". Information like that is frightful but necessary, so products like this one are a breath of fresh airin this chemically saturated world.
